Netflix has announced that the highly anticipated third season of its Regency-era drama "Bridgerton" will be split into two parts, with the first four episodes dropping on May 16th and the remaining four episodes released at a later date.

The first half of Season 3 will focus primarily on the romance between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), as hinted by the title "Polin season."

Netflix has also unveiled a trailer for the second half of the season, which teases a steamy romance between Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Siena (Sabrina Bartlett), as well as the return of fan-favorite characters such as Lady Whistledown (Julie Andrews) and Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel). The release date for Part 2 is yet to be announced.
